How they Met:
Michele & Pat met through mutual friends at UCONN. They hung out a tiny bit at parties but really starting talking when they had a class together. It was a completely depressing class about death and dying so they started chatting and making each other laugh. Michele & Pat spent time together for class projects and came to realize how much they enjoyed being together. They started spending a lot of time together and enjoyed every second they had despite Pat's busy baseball schedule. It wasn't love at first sight, but it hit them like a ton of bricks once they realized what was right in front of them!
The Proposal Story:
Neither of them had ever seen the tree in Rockefeller Center so for their 4 year anniversary in the beginning of December they made plans to take a day trip to the city. Before going, Pat had been teasing Michele that they should go to the Diamond District and look at rings (when he already had the ring). They had a great day in the city and started to head back to Grand Central. Michele was still planning on stopping to window shop in the Diamond District, but then Pat told Michele he didn't want to go to the Diamond District and got down on one knee and asked her to marry him! There was lots of people around and things happening all around and for that one second, everything froze...and Michele almost forgot to say YES!
Engagement Session Special Mention:
Yogi is our puggle. Michele & Pat got him before their senior year at UCONN. He just turned 4 in May!
Favorite Uconn Memory:
Their favorite memory is of their first kiss outside of Pat's apartment in Knollwood. Cliche, but true!
Wedding Excitement:
Pat is most excited for the cake...not because of how it will look, just so he can eat it! Michele is excited for her dress...obviously!
